Krell Announces New Corporate Communications Coordinator

Ames, Iowa (February 17, 2009) — The Krell Institute today announces that Lisa Kollasch has joined the organization as corporate communications coordinator. In this role Lisa will develop branded materials to support existing projects and solicit new business, author and disseminate news releases, provide strategic support in the redesign of Krell's corporate websites, and direct the organization's communications efforts related to their new K-12 energy efficiency program.
Prior to joining Krell, Lisa was employed by Proliant Meat Ingredients of Ankeny, Iowa as marketing manager. At Proliant, Lisa was responsible for day-to-day marketing communications, including: strategic planning, website development, advertising agency management and tradeshow event execution.
Ms. Kollasch earned her bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication, with an emphasis in public relations, from Iowa State University in 2003. Outside of her professional career, Lisa presently serves on the board of the Young Professionals of Ames and the Iowa State University Alumni Association's Young Alumni Council.
