The Krell Institute, a non-profit company that works closely with the science and technology, education and research communities, is seeking a Unix and Network Administrator to join an existing team of IT professionals.
This position will be responsible for maintaining and developing the computer and network systems required for company operations.
Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with equivalent training, and demonstrated experience in networking and operating system fundamentals. Additional qualifications include experience with Debian, FreeBSD, and Cisco platforms. Experience preferred in the areas of programming for web applications, administering a relational database, virtualization, and performing security assessments. Applicants must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
